ISRs will be provided to teachers and school administrators shortly after students complete the Grade 9 Assessment of Mathematics. These results may be included as part of a student’s final Grade 9 mathematics course mark as per the Ministry’s direction in the Growing Success: Assessment, Evaluation, and Reporting in Ontario’s Schools, Grades 1 to 12 (2010) document.
ISRs will only be available to teachers and school administrators after the following steps are completed:
- Students complete both sessions (each session has two stages) of the assessment.
- School administrators validate student data (refer to the Validating Student Information section).
- Teachers submit student responses to EQAO (refer to the Submitting Student Responses section).
- Teachers request the ISRs to be generated for students.
- EQAO confirms student results and releases the reports.
Reports will automatically be available approximately one day after student responses have been submitted to EQAO if school administrators have validated student data.
Teachers and school administrators can access ISRs through the e-assessment system by following these steps:
- Teachers: Refer to the Accessing Individual Student Reports section to determine how you can access ISRs.
- School Administrators: Refer to the Acccessing Individual Student Reports for School Administrators section below to determine how you can access ISRs.
In the fall of the school year following the assessment, the ISRs will only be available to school administrators. School, board and provincial results will be released in the fall of the next school year.
Accessing Individual Student Reports for school administrators
Once the Individual Student Reports are available, follow the steps below to access to them.
- Log in to your account.
- Select the Reports tab.
- In the Reports tab, you can:
- bulk print reports
- save reports as or to PDF
- filter the reports by date
3. Click Print number report(s) to download and print the reports.
These reports contain personal information that is protected under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The reports should be shared with or provided to the school administrator or delegate only.
You can review, verify or update all student-level data (for example, student name, OEN, demographic information) by the end of the administration window.
